My thoughts on the presidential election are...
I speak for myself when I say I am fine with Donald Trump being POTUS. He is an outsider, yes, but maybe that is what we need. In the history of presidents there have been many corruptions such as Watergate Hotel, Benghazi, and George Bush Florida Recount, only committed by true politicians who knew how the system runs, so they knew how to cheat it. So we will see how President Elect Outsider Donald Trump ends up doing, then us voters will know what to vote like next time

For today's topic on, What Grinds my Gears, it is Cubs fans. And no, not just bandwagon cubs fans. Because in the end pretty much every cubs fan, except a few, jumped on the bandwagon within the last year and a half. My next thing is that none of these new "cubs fans" can tell you jack squat about this cubs team that they claim there own. "Start naming any cubs players on this years team," this is my favorite question for any kids at my school who are now wearing all their cubs gear. Big surprise, 90% can name 2 maybe 3. But they love reminding me of the only baseball fact they know, "The Cardinals aren't in the playoffs, and the Cubs are."
2. What event sets the rising action in motion?
After a larger woman gets onto the elevator with Martin, and unlike anyone else on elevators, she looks right into his soul the entire time. Something else that was important was she nearly took up the entire elevator, leaving little to no room for Martin. 5. What details in lines 121-139 suggest a conflict between father and son? Martin was already nervous to even tell his dad, which isn't right. When he tells him, his dad gets angry right away, and starts going off on the poor little guy. Which in my Opinion is no way to deal with children. 6. In lines 145-160 the story takes an unexpected turn. How might this development affect Martin's conflict? He fractures his leg, so after he gets home, he won't have to ride the elevator for the next week or so. Hence he won't have to be in the elevator with the overweight woman anymore. 7. Judging only by line 175, the climax of the story, is Martin in danger? Explain your opinion. Yes, the way I heard her say "Hello Martin" was just very creepy. And what button is she pushing to stop? As far as I am concerned there aren't too many good stop buttons. 8. The author ends this story at the climax. What is your opinion of the plot's development and of leaving the conflict unresolved? Explain. I hate it when authors do this, it is down right silly! I won't be reading any of his stories any time soon. I thought everything was leading up to be a good jaw dropping finish, it certainly wasn't. How easy it is to just start saying a bunch of conflicts and end the story before you get to any of them, it is ridiculous! Honesty. While being honest is important no matter what you do, when you lead an entire country, you need to let the people who trusted you enough for you to lead them know what's what. Intelligence is another key asset in presidency. And this is a follow-up on honesty, you need to know what the people should and should not know. Intelligence isn't always just you knowing what needs to get done, but rather also listening to others, seeking different opinions on each matter. Then based on the variety of facts you receive, make the next move.
Leadership. I count bravery in leadership. Leadership also needs the intelligence. In this case, leadership is taking a country and keeping it great, or making it great again, not always meaning you are going to take over other countries, and your goal is to rule a continent, and it does not mean you won't either. Just doing the things that are necessary to keep things moving and healthy. My final trait would be loyalty. If you are not loyal to the country you are in charge of, if you don't care enough for it! Then it will and shall fall to something. If I had one million dollars I would buy me a nice place on Tortola, BVI. I wrote in my life list about how beautiful Tortola was and how nice it would be to live there. All the cruise line ships parking at the docks, sitting at the top of my house tanning in the gorgeous sun looking at the true blue only the ocean holds, as I think to myself, what a wonderful world.
The majority of the rest of the money would go to my presidential campaign. So in 2044 you will know the name by heart, Wolfgang Adrian Fullenkamp, your next President of the United states of America. And his running mate Mary Callison Menzel. The rest of the money would go in the bank. Even though there wouldn't be much, I could make some interest on that. When it occurs to Squeaky that Raymond doesn't have anything going for him, while shes got a room full of medals and ribbons Raymond's got nothing. But he does keep up with her on runs, and he does have the ability of breathing in counts of seven. And if she could quit and become his coach, then she would have time to become good at academics and compete in spelling bees, and give Raymond a little glory.
Exposition- Squeaky (real name Hazel) is a little bit of a sassy girl that has an older brother with mental disabilities, but she knows she is the fastest thing on two feet. And with the big race coming, up she better be. Rising Action- While training, and watching her brother Raymond, Squeaky runs into Gretchen and her two goons, who are looking for a fight. Squeaky barely avoids the situation and continues her training. The next day she puts Raymond in a swing-set and goes to the track. In the lane next to her is Gretchen, and bang there off and running. Climax- Squeaky nor Gretchen know who won the race, and Squeaky looks over and sees Raymond, and that's when she realizes how little he has going for him, but he can run. So as shes thinking about becoming his coach the man comes over the loudspeaker and pronounces Squeaky as the winner Falling Action- Squeaky thinks about how many ribbons and trophies she has got in her life, and how Raymond has none Resolution- And because of that (the resolution) Squeaky knows she will become his coach. And as she sees Gretchen huffing and a puffing like a true pro, she knows that they could maybe be friends. Question A- Something in you will know that the effort you put in too something will pay off for you with the end result. Well right now I am currently umpiring for ICBB at City Park. I am doing so because my dad and I are planning on going to England to watch our favorite soccer team The Tottenham Hotspur, and umpiring sounded like an easy way to earn the money I needed to pay for my ticket. Turns out that it is not so easy but still a good way to learn respect, and responsibility. Now like I previously stated you just know when something is worth the effort , and while we haven't gone to England yet, I already know it will be worth it. Question C - I was going up to bat in one of my previous baseball games, as an eight grade 13 year old boy, against a pitcher who was standing at 6' 2" (not including the extra ten inches he gets for standing on the mound and) was a senior in high-school, and had more sideburns than Hugh Jackman's "Wolverine". Now I won't lie, he was very intimidating. And as the first pitch whizzed over the plate, I knew I didn't stand a chance. Then the next pitch came in half as slow, and the one after that. And that's when it hit me, not the ball, but fact that this monster of a teenager had me underestimated and because of that, he wasn't gonna waste his arm on me. And so the next pitch came in like the last two and I hit it into left field. That felt pretty darn good! |
